Tomorrowland. Could it be possible?

I recently watched Walt Disney Studio Motion Picture's 2015 Tomorrowland, starring George Clooney as Frank Walker, Britt Robertson as Casey Newton, and Raffey Cassidy as Athena in this scientific mystery as to why the world is the way it is. It follows Casey Newton, a NASA engineer's daughter who dreams of the unordinary, finds a pin with a giant blue 'T' on it that takes her to another world, Tomorrowland. With her family thinking she's crazy, Casey looks for a way to get back to this other world before it's too late for her world. Casey ends up meeting Frank Walker, one of the first to go to this world and try to help it for the better for everyone inside it and out. When Frank is banished, he does everything in his power to make sure that nothing happens to either world, but everything changes when he meets Casey, and what he thought was impossible is now possible. Helping her, they make their way back to Tomorrowland with help from Athena, an old friend of Frank's who ended up turning on him for what she thought was the greater good. The three of them end up saving the world, but at what cost?
Disney's Tomorrowland was released, on May 22, 2015, in the US and Canada. It didn't do the best in the theaters, however, and due to the box office ratings, it wasn't put on Disney+. But what could've made it better?
The movie itself was visually appealing for the most part, the bright themes filled with hope, while the more dark and neutral themes were pretty bland and depressing. You could tell something bad was going to happen but it didn't give a sense of what direction it was going for. Destruction? Death? Disaster? We'd never know looking at the scene itself. The story was decent, I always enjoy the parks so for it to start off with one of the most famous Disney rides, It's a Small World. Right there could have been more of a spooky scene instead of bland and slow. The ride itself scares children and adults alike with the song on a constant loop. In a way, it's as if the song was a chant that you're supposed to use at a sacrifice. The only difference would be that the creatures, or dolls if you will, aren't scary-looking. They could have made the scene focus more on the different dolls and make them move to give some type of suspense, but no, it was just an entrance. As for the 'action' that should've been a part of this movie, it lacked, a lot. Tomorrowland is known for being filled with technology, sci-fi aspects, and robots. Yes, robots are separate because they are a part of technology and, they also tend to have a mind of their own when it comes to most movies, television, and just-facts. So I thought that we would be a little bit more to give than what they did. Maybe a robot fight? Possibly a slight takeover? Mindcontrol? No? Okay then, Disney. All I know is for how much they put towards this movie(190 million dollars) there should have been more of that Disney 'magic' that we know and love. Even though I understand the time period didn't help either, with going up against "Jurassic World", "Mad Max: Fury Road" and Pixar's "Inside Out". I expected more from them with this movie, especially with it also being as big of a company as they are. We've also seen in other Disney live-action movies as well. I believe that they could possibly do a spin on the movie to redeem themselves, but for this movie, I'd give it a 5.8, and that's mainly because I love George Clooney, but other than that it could've been a better-written movie. Something that wasn't all over the place with their story, their characters, and their point.
