Trolls Band Back Together.

Over the week I watched DreamWorks Trolls Band Back Together! And I've got to say, it was pretty good and had the perfect cast. With songs from the 70s and 80s with a twist of some more modern songs, Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick nailed it again as Branch and Poppy. Now personally, my favorite is Branch but when they were able to add Kid Cuddy, Troye Sivan, and Camilla Cabello, how could I not enjoy these little colorful, excentric, loveable characters? This next chapter of the franchise touches on the backstory of Justin Timberlake's character Branch, as we learn more about his life before his grandma passed. He was in a family singing group called Brozone. Branch and his four other brothers were working on reaching the 'perfect family harmony.' But when one of the team members, John Dory(voiced by Eric Andre) tries to boss them all around, the band breaks up and leaves Branch, the youngest, to stay with their Grandma. During bergen King Gristle and Bridget's(voiced by Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Zooey Deschanel) wedding, it's interrupted by John Dory looking for Branch in order to save one of their other brothers, Floyd(voiced by Troye Sivan) who's been taken by these evil twins trying to fake their way to the top by draining the energy and vocal cords from Trollz. However, since Floyd is stuck inside a diamond, they must have all the brothers together for the 'perfect family harmony', for that is the only way to break glass and save their brothers.

Overall? I LOVED this movie! It was an adventure the entire ride. We got to see some old faces from the first and second movies and some new ones with a mixture of iconic voices that we all know and love. I mean they brought back NSYNC! You can't tell me that it isn't iconic for a musical animated movie. I also enjoyed the songs. Unlike the first and second movies, they had more mash-ups than the other two and a better flow of them as well. The company tried with the second edition of the franchise but, in my opinion, it didn't do the other genres they added for this movie any justice. Some songs were added for the older audience as well as the younger one but there was more they could done throughout the movie that was only done at the end. This one gave us original songs too! Not just songs that were released after the movie was released or played at the end of the movie. There was more harmonizing as well, so most of the songs sounded more equal to acapella. Which gave the movie more of a personal feeling to it. Great for children and adults alike! Take your little ones to see it soon!
